Sever Baby Acne

In order to help with newborn baby acne, it is ok to wash the baby's face with a mild soap once a day. Avoid all oils and creams. This could increase grease production. Avoid any over the counter forms of acne treatment when it comes to newborn baby acne. This is excessively harsh for the skin of a newborn.

Newborn bay acne can occur and/or be irritated when a baby sweats, or has skin contact with fabric and saliva. In most cases, there is nothing to worry about when it comes to newborn baby acne. There are rare occasions where the baby's acne can be more severe. This is when you want to consult your pediatrician. They may advise medications for newborn baby acne. Never use anything unless advised by your baby's pediatrician.
